Each delegate who attended the Congress will receive a certificate of attendance via email once the Congress has concluded. The certificate will contain confirmation of attendance to those who have attended the RANZCP 2024 Congress. These credits will not be certified by a national or regional CME accrediting agency. Accompanying persons of the Congress will not be awarded a certificate.

The College proudly supports an inclusive Congress, as demonstrated by:

  • Providing gender neutral bathrooms onsite at the Congress venue
  • Including pronouns and Traditional Custodians of Country or Iwi affiliation on name badges
  • Ensuring hearing loops are available in all workshop and session rooms

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the Congress Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

The official language of the Congress is English.

Every effort is made to ensure people with special requirements are catered for. Should you require any specific assistance, please include a notation with your registration form to enable us to make your stay in Canberra a pleasant and comfortable experience.

The College recognises the importance of sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of our events.

The College is participating in a carbon-offset program for the 2024 Congress. If you wish to make a voluntary donation of $25, this will be used to offset a tonne of carbon through two Tasman Environmental Projects. For details on each project, please click the below links:

The National Convention Centre Canberra (NCCC) is committed to continual improvement in environmental sustainability through meeting government and legislative requirements, and customer and employee expectations to reduce our impact on the environment. Some of the initiatives the NCCC undertakes to reduce the impact on the environment include:

  • Re-gifting conference satchels and promotional items to orphanages and schools in India, Nepal, South-East Asia and Africa
  • Air conditioning is timed by the event start and finish times
  • Working with the OzHarvest Food Rescue to reduce food wastage

The NCCC is centrally located and a short walk from the Congress hotels and the Alinga Street train station. Bus lines 3, 56, 59 or 182 also arrive right outside the Centre if you live locally.

We encourage delegates to think about things you can implement too. They might be as simple as bringing a reusable Keep Cup with you to Canberra for your morning coffee, or ensuring you use the separate waste bins that are provided throughout the centre. Please also consider using a digital ticket for your flight, and choosing to offset the carbon emissions from your travel in advance.

Canberra is on Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC +10:00).
