ACCOMMODATION

A selection of accommodation options has been secured within easy walking distance of the National Convention Centre, Canberra (NCCC) by our Accommodation Manager, WALDRONSMITH Management.  Booking through this site will offer you the following benefits:

  • No deposit is required to secure your booking – simply use your credit card to guarantee your reservation (see details below)
  • Flexibility to change your booking at any time up to 30 days prior to the Meeting commencement date
  • Personalised assistance prior to, during and following your visit

Booking

Accommodation is held from Saturday 18 May to Thursday 23 May 2024. If you require dates outside of this period, please note your preferred dates in the 'Special Requirements' section. Our Accommodation Manager will contact the hotel direct and advise you of availability.

The hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival so we encourage you to book early. Any booking requests received less than 30 days prior to arrival are subject to availability.

Payment

A valid credit card number must be provided to secure your booking. The card details will be securely forwarded to the hotel as a guarantee of your booking.

If you wish to pay for your accommodation in advance by credit card or bank transfer, please note this request in the ’Special Requirements’ section and our Accommodation Manager will be in contact to finalise the payment with you.

You will be required to settle your room and incidental expenses direct with the hotel on arrival or departure. 

Arrival

Please note the check in time at the hotels is generally 1400hrs. If you require immediate access to your room prior to this time, hotels generally recommend booking for the evening before your stay commences. If you are arriving after 1800hrs please note this accordingly to ensure your room is held for your arrival. 

Booking Terms

Please review the booking terms for your preferred hotel for penalties that will apply should you cancel or reduce your stay (by one or more nights) or fail to arrive at the hotel on the designated day of arrival (no-shows). To make any changes or to cancel your booking, please contact the Meeting Office by email – NOT direct with the hotel.  Verbal changes or cancellations cannot by accepted nor will hotels accept any changes direct. All room rates noted are based on room only and are in Australian Dollars.

The hotel is in a tranquil park setting in the heart of the city. The central location is a 2 minute walk from the National Convention Centre and a short stroll to the city’s many shops, bars and restaurants.

Guest rooms are equipped with premium amenities and feature a 32 inch LDC TV, plush bedding, spacious bathroom, and workspace.

There is a fitness centre and pool onsite.

Cancellation policy: At 30 days prior to arrival, one night's non refundable deposit will be charged to your credit card provided at the time of booking by the hotel. Cancellations received between 30-15 days of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one night's accommodation rate. Cancellations received within 14 days of arrival or no-shows will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the full length of stay.

A by Adina Canberra is located on the doorstep of the Parliamentary Triangle at Lake Burley Griffin with restaurants and shopping close by.  The property is within a 10 minute walk of the National Convention Centre.  Studio rooms are open plan with comfortable beds, exclusive bath amenities, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, coffee machine and pods.  One bedroom apartments have a separate living area, full kitchen and laundry.  

Cancellation policy:  Cancellations received between 30-15 days of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee equal to two night's accommodation rate. Cancellations received within 14 days of arrival or no-shows will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the full length of stay. 

The Sebel Canberra Civic

King Executive Room $250 per night

Located in the heart of Canberra CBD, The Sebel Canberra Civic is within walking distance of  the shopping district, Casino, Lake Burley Griffin, and public transport. It is less than 10 minutes’ walk to the National Convention Centre.

Hotel rooms have modern furnishings with a luxurious pillowtop Queen bed and kitchenette facilities, including a Nespresso coffee Machine. Enjoy Foxtel on a Samsung UHD TV with free WIFI.

Cancellation policy: Full payment will be taken upon check in by the hotel. Cancellations received 30 days of arrival or no-shows will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one night's accommodation rate.
