Kirsty West is an Associate Genetic Counsellor at the Royal Melbourne Hospital working in neurogenetics, general adult genetics and familial cancer. Kirsty has a keen interest is the genetics of younger onset dementia and the psychosocial complications that come with the familial implications of a genetic diagnosis. For the past 12 months Kirsty has been involved in a study investigating optimal clinical genomics care for people with dementia and cognitive disorder syndromes and the implementation of genetic counsellors in to specialist outpatient clinics.
