Justin Dwyer is a psychiatrist and Medical Director of Psychosocial Cancer Care at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, where a long-standing interest in death and dying underpin his research and clinical care. Working with Dr Marg Ross as the lead therapy dyad in Australia’s first Psychedelic Assisted Therapy study, he has the most hands-on clinical experience prescribing and working therapeutically with psychedelics. The research team have recently wrapped up their study, and he will be presenting the qualitative findings that speak to the psychotherapy process in psychedelic work.
